Lundberg, Becker lead race for Marysville School Board

Preliminary results for the Aug. 16 primary election have been released by Snohomish County.

EVERETT – Preliminary results for the Aug. 16 primary election have been released by Snohomish County.

In the race for Marysville School District Director 3, Pete Lundberg leads with 2,106 votes (33.18 percent), followed by Darci Becker with 2,004 votes (31.57 percent). Michael Hansen has 1,569 votes (24.72 percent) followed by Rod Rieger with 619 votes (9.75 percent. Write-in candidates garnered 49 votes (0.77).

In the race for Arlington mayor, Steve Baker leads with 635 votes (29.16 percent), followed by Barb Tolbert who received 622 votes (28.56 percent). They were followed by Debora Nelson with 376 votes (17.26 percent), Craig Christianson with 312 votes (14.33 percent), Carsten Mullin with 148 votes (6.80 percent), and Kari Ilonummi who received 70 votes (3.21 percent). Write-in candidates received 15 votes (0.69 percent).

The top two candidates in each race will move on to the November General Election.
