TULALIP — The Tulalip Resort Casino recently received AAA’s “Four Diamond” award, which is intended to recognize a property’s level of service, comfort, cleanliness and safety.
“It is an honor to be recognized with this prestigious award,” said Ken Kettler, president and chief operating officer of the Tulalip Resort Casino. “This Four Diamond rating is a reflection of our staff’s hard work and dedication to excellent customer service.”
According to AAA, “Four Diamond award-winners know the language of quality as they consistently deliver a luxury experience, complete with a high level of service, amenities and impressive surroundings.” AAA Four Diamond hotels represent less than 4 percent of the more-than-31,000 AAA-approved and Diamond-rated properties.
AAA Four Diamond-rated properties are expected to be upscale in all areas, including “progressively refined and stylish accommodations,” with “physical attributes reflective of an obvious enhanced level of quality throughout.” The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.
The Tulalip Resort Casino features 370 guest-rooms, including numerous specialty suites, such as the 3,000-square-foot Tulalip Suite, designed to accommodate any level of corporate entertaining; the 2,000-square-foot Player’s Suite, with a professional-sized pool table, dart board, arcade games and professional sporting memorabilia; the Technology Suite, offering guests leading-edge hotel and entertainment technology; and two Asian-themed suites, designed on the principles of feng shui with a Northwest flair. All standard rooms at the hotel boast granite counters, dark African wenge-wood trim, 47-inch flat-screen TVs, iPod docks, sleek triple-headed showers and floor-to-ceiling windows. Authentic tribal art, valued at more than $1 million, is incorporated into the hotel’s interior design.
