Mayor seeks citizen to fill vacancy on Marysville Planning Commission

Mayor Jon Nehring is seeking individuals interested in filling a vacancy on the city of Marysville Planning Commission.

MARYSVILLE — Mayor Jon Nehring is seeking individuals interested in filling a vacancy on the city of Marysville Planning Commission.

The successful nominee to the planning commission would serve a six-year term. Applicants must reside within Marysville city limits. The seven-member Planning Commission is an advisory board to the mayor and City Council on issues such as land use, critical areas and shoreline management planning, and long-range planning issues. The commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in Marysville City Hall, located at 1049 State Ave.

The appointment is made by the mayor and confirmed by the Council.
