Northern Sound Choirs schedule performances

A group of local girls will again be performing holiday music during their annual Christmas concerts.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY — A group of local girls will again be performing holiday music during their annual Christmas concerts.

The Northern Sound Choirs, which includes girls aged 12-18, are slated to sing at the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall in Quil Ceda Village Dec. 13 and at The Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp on Dec. 16.

The Quil Ceda Village performance will take place from 2-4 p.m., while choir members will be holding two concerts at 6:45 and 8:45 p.m. at Warm Beach.

The seventh annual holiday concert series will feature songs from many different cultures, and group members will sing in four languages, said Stuart Hunt, Northern Sound founder and director.

Residents of all ages are encourage to attend the free concerts.

“As usual, there will be a sing-along at the end,” Hunt said.

The choir’s first performance took place at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at New View Church in Stanwood.
