MARYSVILLE — The Marysville School District Board of Directors has re-opened the application process to fill the Director District 2 seat that was vacated by Cindy Rebain (Erickson) on Sept. 3.

The application window opened on Thursday, Oct. 24, and will remain open through Friday, Nov. 8.

Application materials are posted on the Marysville School District’s website, at www.msvl.k12.wa.us/board-of-directors.

Application packets are also available at the Marysville School District’s Educational Service Center, at 4220 80th St. NE in Marysville.The Board is seeking an individual with experience in public education, and in the operations of the schools and the district.

To be eligible, those interested in applying must reside in the Director District 2 area, and be registered voters, legal residents of the state of Washington and U.S. citizens.

The area map and description of the Director District 2 area can be viewed on the district’s website, or verified by calling the Snohomish County Elections office at 425-388-3444.Filling the vacated Board seat will be done through an application and interview process, with the new Director appointed by the Board of Directors.
