Anna Lockhart, 105, passed away October 20, 2011 in Arlington, WA. She was born January 28, 1906 in County Cork, Ireland.
She did lots of volunteer work in her life and was a very devout Catholic. She remained so actively involved in the Immaculate Conception Church in Arlington that Father Jim Dalton named her the “official matriarch” of the church a few years ago. Anna was a strong, outgoing, faithful, caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband Joseph Lockhart in 1967, son James Lockhart in 1994. Anna is survived by her daughter Maureen (Frank) DePuy of Marysville, WA, 2 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011; 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1200 5th St., Arlington, WA 98223.
