Harold Edward Nemnich passed away on Jan. 23, 2008, in Totem Lake, Wash.
Harold was born April 2, 1927, in Belle Fourche, S.D.
He lived in Bellevue, Wash., with his wife of almost 26 years, Katherine.
He is survived by siblings, Adaline McCallum (husband Harold), Irene Nelson (husband Charles) and Louis Nemnich; children, Steve (wife Ann), Michael (wife Linda), Kathryn Angelshaug (husband Randy); step children, Dan Clarke (wife Kathy) and Gary Clarke, Sandra Pelroy (husband Steve); grandchildren, Nick, Christopher, Anneliese Bennett, Robert, Sarah, Brittany, Bryant, Stacy Pelroy, Daniel Clarke, David Clarke, Tim Clarke, Jackie Glassman, Jeremy Angelshaug, Christi Angelshaug; 22 great-grandchildren and many others.
During his lifetime, he was a machinist and a World War II veteran; most of all, he loved being a farmer.
Harold was loved for his witty attitude and eagerness to get people motivated.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the Arlington United Church.
