Don C. Hubert, 93, passed away at Providence Everett Medical Center in Everett, Nov. 18, 2006.
He was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Everett, the seventh child out of ten, of Otto Rudolph and Anna (Nieman) Ubert.
He grew up in the Everett, Lowell, Seattle and Marysville, Wash. areas.
He met the love of his life in Marysville, Ethel Mary King, and they were married June 17, 1936.
Don worked at many odd jobs beginning his working career as a paper boy, retiring from Scott Paper Company after 32 years.
Preceding him in death, his wife, Ethel, passing away at their home in Lakewood, Wash., July 16, 1997.
Surviving him are his four children, Bruce D. Hubert, of the home, Helen (Don) Eliason, of Mt. Vernon, Wash., Nancy (Bill) Gunthier, of Arlington, Wash., and Robert (Pam) Hubert, of Smokey Point, Wash.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no services per his request. Cremation was at the Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville.
