AHS Spring Band Concert
All the bands of Arlington High School will show off their talent at the final all-band concert of the year, under the direction of John Grabowski, at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 9. The evening of free band music will include recognition for nearly 30 seniors who will be graduating soon. Call for art
The Harman Eye Clinic is seeking art in any media, from painting and photography to needlepoint and quilts, to display in the entry hallway during the months of May and June. Artists are encouraged to submit of samples of their work in jpg format to twentybetter@aol.com by April 10. Include title, author, year created, size, medium and contact information. Accepted submissions will be notified by April 17 and the work must be delivered by April 29.
Auction to
benefit MATHS athletic field
Arts & Technology High School has announced its second annual Senior Legacy Auction is scheduled at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 11 to fund a sports facility that would allow on-campus intramural sports and physical education. The evening includes a reception with silent auction and a four-course dinner created by Tulalip Resort Casino’s award-winning culinary team. There will also be wine from Woodinville’s DeLille Cellars. Marysville School District’s first “options campus” houses three specialty schools and serves 585 students Auction items include a trip for two to Las Vegas and two original Cedar Tribal paddles carved by respected tribal artist James Madison and apprentice artist Andrew Gobin, a Marysville A & T alumnus. Madison shows work in mask exhibit
Tulalip artist James Madison has work in a show, “Of Myth and Mask: The Art of Storytelling” through April 9 at the Steinbrueck Native Gallery, 2030 Western Ave. Ste. B, in Seattle.
