A home show news release says small is the next big thing in homes, and not just tiny houses either. Small structures of all types, from backyard offices to exercise studios and even “She Sheds”, are the latest trend as Millennials look for new alternatives in housing and Baby Boomers downsize. Color is back, and Millennials also are turning toward antiques and collectibles.
Year-round outdoor living (including heaters, fireplaces and kitchens) are another trend, such as the Outdoor Living and Wine & Food Garden, where visitors can see the latest ideas and sample food and wine while listening to live music. There also will be free art, antique and collectibles appraisals Feb. 19-20 and daily home improvement seminars.
Show hours are Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Monday – Friday noon – 6. Admission is $13.
