It is often difficult for the average voter to determine who is the most qualified to be a judge. The positions are non-partisan so you don’t (and shouldn’t) have party ideology to guide you and judges are limited in what they can say about specific cases. I have found that it is best to rely on people I know and trust who have worked with the candidate and on endorsements by people who have knowledge of his or her performance.
I have met and talked to Joe Wilson and to people who have worked with him and they are very positive about his ability. In addition, both the present and past Sheriffs and County Executives have endorsed him. To me, that is enough gain my support. He seems to be exactly the kind of person we need on the court.
