The All-American Girl Pageant already has a number of young contestants from Marysville and Arlington, but pageant organizers are still inviting more hopefuls to apply.
“We are hoping to get more babies to enter the age categories of 0-23 months for Baby Miss, and girls from 3-4 years for the Tiny Miss,” said Monica Berginc of the All-American Girl Pageant. “We would love to have more Teen Miss, from 16-18 years, and more Misses, from 19-21 years.”
Currently confirmed contestants from Marysville include Alexis Miller for Junior Teen Miss, Britany Bray for Teen Miss and Sierra Maria for Mini Miss, with Madison and Mikalya Maria for Young Miss. Tulalip’s Aimee Brotton will be competing for Little Miss, while Lakewood’s Asheley and Hannah Krutsinger will be competing for Little Miss and Young Miss, respectively. From Arlington, Kelsey Bray, Sidney Gillaspie, Emma Lewis and Abby Shoemaker are all competing for Mini Miss.
Berginc noted that the pageant also organizes community service collections for food banks, toy drives and schools supplies for children in underdeveloped countries.
Age divisions include Baby Miss for 0-23 months, Tiny Miss for 3-4 years, Mini Miss for 4-6 years, Little Miss for 7-9 years, Young Miss for 10-12 years, Junior Teen for 13-15 years, Teen Miss for 16-18 years and Miss 19-21 years.
