In girls softball, the Tommies came from behind to beat Mount Vernon 6-4.
Sydney Zachry led the winners going 2-3 with a run and 2 RBI. Cassidy Phelps scored twice and smacked a triple. Kelsey Edge was the winning pitcher.
In boys baseball, Kevin Faulkner knocked in five runs to lead M-P to a 12-2 win over Stanwood Tuesday. Faulkner was 2-3 with a double. Jordan Justice also stood out for the winners, going 1-2 with 3 RBI. He was also the winning pitcher striking out 8 in just four innings, with 3 walks.
In boys soccer MP beat Edmonds-Woodway 3-0 Tuesday.
Marysville Getchell
In boys baseball, MG lost to Snohomish at home 18-6 Tuesday. Malakhi Knight hit a triple and Ryan King a double for the Chargers.
In girls softball, Brionna Palm led the Chargers to a 7-3 win at Roosevelt Tuesday. Not only did she go 3-4 at the plate with two doubles, she also was the winning pitcher striking out 8 and walking one in seven innings. Maile Pingree went 3-4, hit a double and scored a run.
In boys golf, at Cedarcrest Golf Course, MG lost to Oak Harbor, but beat Shorecrest. For the Chargers, Nathan Bickle shot a 47, Emryk Fritz a 54, Nick Scharbach a 58 and Jacob Faller a 60. In boys soccer, MG lost to Mountlake Terrace 4-1, with Mark Popach getting their only goal.
In girls tennis, Marysville Getchell blanked Archbishop Murphy 7-0 Tuesday.
Arlington
In boys baseball, Cameron Smith and Camdon Anderson combined on a two-hitter in winning at Everett Tuesday 9-1. In six innings Smith struck out nine and walked just two. The Eagles also pounded out 14 hits, led by Jack Sheward going 3-5 with 2 RBI. Paul Chung went 2-4 with a double.
In boys soccer, Arlington beat Shorecrest 3-2 Tuesday. Scoring for the Eagles were Kayl Allen, Juan Castillo and Furley Cork.
In girls tennis, the Eagles lost to Oak Harbor Tuesday 5-2. The only winners for Arlington were: Faith Holden at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-1 and Abby Weber-Siena Leighton at No. 3 doubles 6-2, 6-1.

In girls tennis, the Cougars beat Granite Falls 5-2 Tuesday. Winners were: At No. 1 singles, Nucike Klinck won 7-6 (7-3), 6-2; No. 2 singles Shantel Palmer won 7-5, 4-6, 6-4; at No. 1 doubles Nicole Miller-Vianey Aparicio won 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 doubles Kylie Lavveau-Maddy Raymon won 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4); and at No. 3 doubles Kallie Yargus-Riley Zbiegien won 6-0, 6-2.
In girls softball, the Cougars beat Squalicum 17-1 Tuesday with Riley Mae Swanson throwing a no-hitter, striking out nine and walking two. At the plate, Natalie Krueger went 3-4 with two doubles, as did Ashtyn Sailor.
In boys baseball, the Cougars lost a Lynnwood Tuesday 9-2. Caden Wolfson and Riley Krueger led the team at the plate, both with a double and an RBI.
