MARYSVILLE – The city has announced its free movie lineup for this summer’s Popcorn in the Park series.
New this year will be movie theme-related activities before every film
July 13: A Dog’s Way Home (PG). Bella embarks on a 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her human.
July 20: Ralph Breaks the Internet (PG) Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz navigate the web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’ game, Sugar Rush.
July 27: Bumblebee (PG-13) Charlie, trying to find her place in the world, discovers a battle-scarred Bumblebee. She quickly learns this is no ordinary yellow VW bug.
Aug. 3: Incredibles 2 (PG) Helen is in the spotlight leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash. The family is still unaware of baby Jack’s emerging superpowers.
Aug. 10-Star Wars: The Karate Kid (PG) Bullied teen Daniel learns self-defense from Mr. Miyagi.
Movies start at dusk at Jennings Ballfield, 6915 Armar Road.
The Marysville Kiwanis club provides free popcorn; its student Key Club sells other concessions.
