I am honored to endorse your mayor, Jon Nehring.

Jon and I have known each other since he became mayor in 2010. We serve on the Community Transit board together.

We have many good elected officials in Snohomish County. Nehring is one of those at the top of the ladder. He is genuine, honest and full of integrity.

With all municipalities’ budgets getting tighter every year, it is important to develop partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Nehring understands that, and he is a great example of a regional partner. The Cascade Industrial Center is one example. Marysville-Arlington received MIC designation from the Puget Sound Regional Council by forming partnerships and coordinating all our county voting representatives, bringing transportation dollars to the MIC development.

Jon also initiated the partnership with the county on the I-5/SR 529 Interchange project, and Marysville received $500,000 from the county for this project.

I encourage Marysville to re-elect Mayor Jon Nehring.
