EVERETT — The Washington Healthplanfinder mobile enrollment tour is coming to the College Plaza of Everett Community College, at 1001 N. Broadway, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, to sign local residents up for health coverage.
Trained enrollment experts from the local lead organization, Whatcom Alliance for Health Advancement, and their community partners will be available to help people without health insurance understand the new health plans and financial help that is now available. In-person assisters and people with recent enrollment experiences will also be available.
Among those anticipated to be in attendance during part or all of the four-hour stop are Bethany Frey, senior communications specialist with the Washington Health Benefit Exchange; Dorothy Bradshaw, in-person assister program manager with the Whatcom Alliance for Health Advancement; and U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen, of Washington state’s 2nd Congressional District.
Washington Healthplanfinder is the new way to find, compare and enroll in the health plan that fits your needs and budget. For more information, or to schedule a free appointment with a registered in-person assister, contact Wendy Nelson at WLnelson@hinet.org.
