MARYSVILLE — A family heirloom in the form of a 1982 Jeep was stolen from a Marysville veteran’s home Thursday, police say.
The tan Jeep was parked on a trailer near 116th Street NE. They went missing sometime between 12:30 and 5:30 a.m.
Clarence Gilbert, a 41-year-old Army veteran, was given the Jeep by his 73-year-old father, who also is an Army vet. He lives in Concrete and bought it new 32 years ago. Gilbert said someone cut the lock and stole both the Jeep and trailer.
Anyone who sees the Jeep should call 911. The Jeep’s license plate is Washington Veteran 18785. The trailer’s license plate is 223WO.
