Camp Ruff for dogs
A fundraiser for the Everett Animal Shelter, Dec. 3 is the final day to register for Camp Ruff House, a Christmas event for pets and their humans. Attendees must be social, spayed/neurtered and update on vaccinatioins, including for bordatella.
Photos of dogs and their owners with a seasonal backdrop, treats for dogs and humans from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 7 at Camp Ruff House, 3923 88th St., suite N, in Marysville. Fun on Third Street in Marysville
Santa Claus will be hanging around at the Marysville Historical Museum, 1508 Third St., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 6.
Photos for $10 will be printed while visitors enjoy refreshments, or take your own photos for free. A unique backdrop features a Model T. Donations toward a new historical museum building will be welcome.
Marysville celebrates with Merrysville
The city of Marysville also invites its community to join in the parade which starts at 6:30 p.m. The Electric Lights Parade requires all vehicle entries to be decorated with lights. The parade concludes at Comeford Park, 514 Delta Ave., where Santa will visit with children and the water tower will be lit up.
Musical entertainment features the Northern Sound Advanced Girls Choir from 7 – 7:45 p.m. Savory treats, hot drinks and crafts will be available for purchase inside the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center, with proceeds benefitting activities at the center.
• 6:30-8:30 p.m. — Arts and Crafts in KBCC, with food & toy collection.
• 6:30 p.m. — Electric Light Parade.
• 7 p.m. — Water tower Lighting; Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive.

Community Day at Tazer Family Farm
Tour a festival of trees 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Tazer Valley Farm 7314 300th St. NW, in Stanwood. Kids crafts, hot dogs, cider, cocoa, gather round the fireplace for Christmas readings, visit Santa, and enjoy specialty gifts and baked goods available in the Sugar Plum Village.

Jingle Bell Benefit
The third annual Jingle Bell Benefit for the Cindy Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund is set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 6 at Marysville Awards and Gifts, at 1826 Fourth St., in downtown Marysville. Twenty-five percent of all sales will go to the benefit.
Northern Sound Choir offers concerts
The 27 girls ages 12-19 of the Northern Sound Girls’ Advanced Choir will perform three concerts for the holidays with selections from around the world.
• Dec. 4 at the Smokey Point Community Church, 17721 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.
• Dec. 6 at Merrysville for the Holidays, 5:30 p.m. in Comford Park, after the lighting of the water tower.
• Dec. 17 at the Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp at 6:45 and 8:45 p.m. in Joyland Concert Hall.
“The young ladies have been preparing since September for these performances,” said the director, Stuart Hunt. “And they are now beginning preparation for a three-day concert tour of Vancouver B.C. performing in stadiums, churches, libraries and schools throughout greater Vancouver.

Wreathes for sale
Quilceda Community Services, a non-profit agency serving adults with developmental disabilities since 1976, is selling handcrafted fresh mixed evergreen wreaths to help fund its programs.
Made of noble and Douglas firs, cedars, ornamental evergreens, various hollies, junipers and rosehips, each wreath is a unique creation. they cost $25 to $35 and must be reserved in advance at 360-653-2324.
Christmas Fest

The Marysville-based Frawg N’ Turtle offers its barbecue sauces and mustards along with many other vendors at a Christmas bazaar Dec. 14 at Sonrise Chapel located at 11625 Airport Rd, Ste D, Everett.
