A singer/songwriter from Virginia, Andrew McKnight returns to the Pacific Northwest for the first time in four years and he will appear at Evergreen Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1607 Fourth St., Marysville, beginning at 8 p.m., Saturday, May 10, a benefit for Marysville Food Bank & EUUF.
McKnight is joined on this West Coast tour by Sean Kelly on upright bass and harmony vocals. A virtuoso bassist hailing from Denver, Colorado, Kelly’s credits include a regular seat in the Boulder Philharmonic along with recording and performing with some of the best independent American singer/songwriters, like Annie Gallup, johnsmith and John William Davis as well as touring with McKnight several times each year.

A guitar player who records with Falling Mountain McKnight is launching his new CD, “Something Worth Standing For.” He is also leading a special music service at the Tahoma Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Tacoma Sunday morning, May 11 and will pay a visit to KBCS 91.3 FM at 1 p.m. May 9 for a live performance and interview on “Lunch With Folks.”
He will lead two workshops on songwriting and the music business at Dusty Strings Acoustic Music Shop, 3406 Fremont Ave. N. in Seattle Saturday, May 10:
