MARYSVILLE — Marysville boys and girls who want to write to Santa Claus this year will once again have a simple way to do so, according to Marysville Historical Society President Ken Cage.
“Last year, some of Santa’s helpers put a mailbox in front of the Historical Society Museum where kids could drop off their letters,” Cage said. “It looks like Santa’s elves have been at it again this year, because there’s a big red mailbox in front of our building again, right next to the bathtub garden. You can’t miss it.”
Cage promised the boys and girls of Marysville that, if their letters included their return addresses, Santa would take the time to write them back, just as he did for more than a hundred children last year.
“And if any of those kids want preprinted letter forms, the Historical Society Museum has those in stock,” Cage said. “They can even meet Santa in the old BookWorks building on Third Street on Dec. 11.”
Cage explained that Santa would be available for photos from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec 11 at 1510 Third St.
The Marysville Historical Society is located at 1508-B Third St.
