MARYSVILLE — Jeff Erwin and Anna Dragomirova Nikolova have been named the Marysville Soroptimist and Kiwanis Students of the Month for April.
Erwin has made the Honor Roll for four years and is maintaining a 3.35 GPA in the Everett Community College Running Start program.
Erwin was nominated as a Homecoming Prince in 2005, and was a member of the Marysville-Pilchuck High School Wrestling Team from 2005-2007, as well as a note-taker at the Everett Community College Center for Disability Services in 2008. He’s been a member of Stryker’s Soccer Team since 2005 and a Warm Beach Camp counselor since 2007.
Erwin has been a confirmed member of the Peace Lutheran Church since 2005 and a Nautica employee since 2007. He was a guitarist for the Peace Lutheran Church Worship Team from 2006-2008 and a participant in the Marysville holiday lights parade in 2008.
Erwin received an M-PHS Leadership Award in 2007 and a Nautica Employee of the Month Award in August of 2008.
Dragomirova has maintained a 3.97 GPA, ranks 10th out of 691 in her graduating class and was recently named Student of the Quarter for a second quarter.
Dragomirova was a band member from 2005-2006, a Volunteer Club member from 2006-2007, and in 2008, she assisted in organizing, and served as the master of ceremonies for, the School for the Entrepreneur assembly. She’s been a Future Business Leaders of America member since 2006, and a National Honor Society member since 2007.
Dragomirova is a two-time Junior Olympian for rhythm gymnastics who took second place at the Junior Olympics Classics Championships from 2003-2004. From 2004-2005, she was a three-time regional champion and a five-time state champion for rhythm gymnastics, and in 2007, she was a two-time ballroom champion at regional and national competitions.
Dragomirova was president of M-PHS FBLA from 2007-2008, and in 2008, she led a team of five to the State Business Leadership Conference.
