MARYSVILLE — Merrill Gardens at Marysville will celebrate “Support Our Troops” Week by hosting two pasta meals June 16 to raise funds for the United Service Organizations.

The USO has been providing support to military members and their families since 1941, and the residents and team members at all 56 Merrill Gardens retirement communities in 10 states are hosting this fundraiser, which will be open to family members, friends and the general public. All food and beverages are being donated by Merrill Gardens, and the meals will cost a minimum $10 donation for each diner, will all proceeds going directly to the USO.

The lunch session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the dinner session will run from 4-6 p.m., at Merrill Gardens’ location at 9802 48th Dr. NE in Marysville. A USO dance will take place in between, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
