Notice is hereby given that on August 6, 2008 an application was made to the City of Marysville Community Development Department requesting State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) review and conditional use permit approval for the construction of four (4) townhome units and a 1,560 SF office building with two (2) additional multifamily units above the office. A variance to Section 19.12.200(3) MMC, regarding structure setbacks for nonresidential land uses in residential zones, is also being requested.

NOTICE OF DETERMINATION

OF NONSIGNIFICANCE

The Marysville School District No. 25 has issued a determination of nonsignificance (DNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following nonproject action:

The adoption of the Marysville School District 2008 Six‑Year Capital Facilities Plan by the Marysville School District for the purposes of planning for the facilities needs of the District. Snohomish County and the City of Marysville will incorporate the District’s Capital Facilities Plan into their Comprehensive Plans. The City of Everett may also incorporate the District’s Capital Facilities Plan into its Comprehensive Plan.

After review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the agency, the Marysville School District has determined this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment.

Copies of the DNS and the environmental checklist are available at no charge from Mr. Jim Baker, Executive Director of Finance, Marysville School District No. 25, 4220 – 80th Street N.E., Marysville, Washington 98270-3498. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue.
