No Community Transit service on Thanksgiving

Community Transit service will not operate on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 22. The RideStore at the Lynnwood Transit Center and customer service phone lines also will be closed on Thanksgiving.

On Friday, Nov. 23, Community Transit local buses will operate on their regular schedules, but downtown Seattle commuter service will be limited to Routes 402, 413 and 421. Commuter service to the University District will be limited to Route 855.

Community Transit RideStore hours on Nov. 23 are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and customer service phone lines will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Also on Nov. 23, buses in Seattle will be rerouted to Second and Third avenues from 8-11 a.m. for the Macy’s Holiday Parade and from 4-6:30 p.m. for the Westlake Center tree-lighting ceremony. Rerouted buses will serve King County Metro Transit bus stops.

Sound Transit buses in Snohomish County will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thanksgiving, and on their regular schedules on Nov. 23. Sound Transit Routes 510, 511 and 513 will also be rerouted to Second and Third avenues during the parade and tree-lighting ceremony.
