Let me take this opportunity to give thanks to the many, many community partners that make the lives of our students and our community so much richer. On behalf of our dedicated, hardworking staff, thank you for your generous gifts of time, talent and treasure to make our schools and community better each year:
School’s out in Marysville. We have said farewell to 740 graduates and retiring staff. Many of our 1,300 employees are taking well-deserved vacations, going to summer school, or working on National Board certification. However there is still much work to be done during the summer.
Partnerships with our community — now more than ever — help us through tough times.
Yes, Marysville School District is all about literacy, math and graduation. In addition, our mission statement says “Every student … 100 percent … prepared for success in college, career and responsible citizenship”.
Marysville’s eight high schools prepare students for graduation, college and life.professional and diverse teaching and support staff.
The Marysville School District has a one-time opportunity to use the remaining 2006 school construction funds to qualify for $8 million in state funding for a bus transportation cooperative — a partnership between two or more districts. Marysville’s current transportation site is inadequate for present and future needs. Good stewardship of district funds, together with a favorable construction market and state support, provides an opportunity to meet critical needs at less cost to local taxpayers.
Thank you for your support for the Marysville School Levy. The passage of the school levy is a huge support…
