MARYSVILLE — Lance Curry, an Edward Jones financial advisor in Marysville, is supporting local elmentary schools by using his office as a drop-off location for a school supplies drive.
Local residents and businesses may help those less fortunate in the community by bringing in items to the Marysville Edward Jones branch office during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Aug. 27.
“We’re asking Marysville residents to donate school supplies or to volunteer their time,” Curry said. “These donations can add value as one more student will be provided with the appropriate tools to begin or continue his or her learning and development.”
The items needed for the school supply drive include backpacks, scissors, pink erasers, pens, pencil cases, No. 2 pencils, red pencils for correcting, colored pencils, crayons, white glue, glue sticks, tissues, pocket-style folders with bottom pockets, three-ring two-inch vinyl hardback binders, 70-page spiral notebooks, wide-rule and college-rule paper, and 12-inch rulers.
The Marysville Edward Jones branch is located in Suite C at 9023 State Ave.
