SMOKEY POINT – A long lined formed outside the front door at the opening of the new Habitat for Humanity store Saturday.

Proceeds at the store go to help people in need find places to live.

The store sells new and gently used donated items including: appliances, cabinets, doors, flooring, furniture, hardware, electrical supplies, insulation, lighting, lumber, plywood, sheetrock, paint, wall coverings, plumbing, roofing materials, tile, tools, windows and more.

A ribbon cutting took place with local city and chamber of commerce officials to celebrate the store opening.
