The event from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. will includes tours of the facility and interaction with dialysis care specialists. Visitors will also receive educational materials about kidney disease care and prevention.

The center began operation in December and received Medicare certification last month.

The new center will be open three days a week and provide three shifts per day on eight stations. The center can serve as many as 48 patients with options to expand shits and/or days once the need grows. The center is 6,735 square feet and is expected to bring up to 18 jobs over the next few years.
