Skagit Regional Clinics expand cardiology services in Smokey Point

SMOKEY POINT — Skagit Regional Clinic is expanding its cardiology services into the Smokey Point area and has hired a new cardiologist.

Dr. Yelena Rosenberg, who recently completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, will provide general cardiology to patients at Skagit Regional Clinics’ existing office and expand the clinics’ services into Arlington starting Sept. 15.

In addition to working at the Skagit’s Mount Vernon office, Rosenberg will also be seeing patients at 16410 Smokey Point Blvd., Building No. 200, in Smokey Point.

“We are extremely delighted to expand our high quality cardiology services to better serve communities in north Snohomish County,” said Dr. Sanjeev Wasson, Skagit Regional Clinics cardiology physician lead.

Rosenberg, who is fluent in English, Russian and German, joins Skagit’s nine cardiologists currently caring for patients in Mount Vernon, Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley.

Skagit Regional Clinics, formerly known as Skagit Valley Medical Center, includes more than 90 physicians and healthcare professionals serving Skagit and Snohomish counties.
