Happy, happy birthday to us. This month Imagine Childrens Museum is two years old and what an incredible two years it has been.
Since opening in October 2004 we have gained a five-star rating from Lila Guide, were designated a Hidden Gem by Parent Map Magazine and received the Best Museum for Kids 2005 award from Seattle Magazine. Soon we will be included in articles appearing in Northwest Travel Magazine and Sunset Magazine, as well as listed in the AAA Guide for 2007. Were very proud of these accomplishments and grateful to everyone that helped make the Museum possible.
As we look toward beginning our third year, the Museum feels privileged to continue serving the community by providing award-winning programming, hosting fun-filled special events and welcoming visitors from throughout Washington and the country more than 330,000 already. Opening our outdoor exhibit area has made this already incredible Museum even more awesome.
The communitys encouragement of children learning through play has made our success possible. As well as saying happy birthday to us, museum board and staff say an enthusiastic thank you to everyone who helped make the past two years better than we could ever imagine.
