A very big thank you for one of your young residents. My husband and I spent the weekend in your city. We stayed at the Comfort Inn near the casino and had a fun evening with another couple from Canada playing blackjack.
Back in our room at midnight, we received a phone call on our cell phone. Josh, who works at the Pizza Hut on State Avenue, had found our passports thrown in a nearby parking lot. My husband’s business card was in the wallet containing our passports. After trying a number of phone numbers, he managed to find us.
We obtained his contact information then checked to see if our car was still there. It had been broken into and a number of items stolen, however none so valuable as our passports. We met Josh the following morning at his work and although he at first refused our reward, he finally accepted it. He was a very nice young fellow.
Although we left a little lighter in the wallet due to our attempt at black jack, we also left light hearted at Josh’s generosity in taking the time to contact us.
