The Mountain Loop needs your voice; no motocross racing park for centuries

I, the Mountain Loop have provided a natural environment for you to get in touch with nature. You have enjoyed hiking my trails, camping in one of my many campgrounds, fishing or kayaking on one of the many streams, creeks or rivers I provide.

I, the Mountain Loop have provided a natural environment for you to get in touch with nature. You have enjoyed hiking my trails, camping in one of my many campgrounds, fishing or kayaking on one of the many streams, creeks or rivers I provide.
My mountains you have climbed and my wildlife you have had the pleasure of observing. I have always held a peaceful presence where you could just sit and listen to the sounds of nature. You have known me to be the definition of green.
Now my reputation is being threatened and I need your help.
Now MXGP Inc., is proposing a 435-acre motocross complex with three racetracks to be developed along the north side of the highway approximately six miles east of Granite Falls.
This will affect all of you that live near or travel to visit my forest. As you sit on top Mt. Pilchuck taking in the goes on forever view, you will also be listening to the sound of 150 to 400 dirt bikes racing in the valley below you.
When you hike down the Robe Trail to picnic at one of the Monte Cristo railroad tunnels, you will hear, mingled with the sound of the white water running in the Stillaguamish River, the buzz of dirt bikes racing only one mile away.
Two-cycle exhaust fumes will infiltrate my pristine air quality. Gasoline and oil spills seeping into the earth will threaten Canyon Creek. My wildlife, both threatened and endangered, will have to give up their homes on or near this proposed site.
Vehicles parked along the side of the road will heavily affect traffic along my highway. Honestly, there is nothing friendly about this proposed Motocross racing site that is beneficial to my environment. I have always tried to be green for you, to provide a forested refuge for you to get away from it all and to refresh your spirit within natures peaceful, quiet beauty.
I have always been there for you now I need you to be there for me. Please help preserve what I have had to offer you in the past for the future. Be my voice against the proposed Paul Thomas Motocross Park on the Mountain Loop Highway. Please visit www.NoMotocrossOnTheMountainLoop.com
Always respectfully yours, The Mountain Loop
