Blue Friday
in Arlington
A new blues happening is just getting started in Arlington, reports the ol’ blues harpist, Jeff Nicely. Presented by Nicely, in collaboration with Sean Denton of the Gryffyn Band and the owners of the Mirkwood & Shire Cafe, there will be live music at the Mirkwood every Friday. “We’d love to have you be a part of the fun,” Nicely said. Nicely is getting together with his old buddy, Randy Norris to play as The Norris & Nicely Funky Acoustic Blues Duo on Friday, Dec. 26. Nicely often plays a few tunes with the Gryffyn Band, which is scheduled for Dec. 19.
