May Hunt, Street Fair applications ready
The Downtown Arlington Business Association has announced application forms are available for the May Hunt, to be held in the city parking lot south of City Hall along with the Arlington Garden Club’s plant sale on May 17, and for the Arlington Street Fair on July 11, 12 and 13.

DABA decided at its April 2 morning meeting to go back to meeting weekly to work on its upcoming projects, including the Show-n-Shine car show as well as the May Hunt and Street Fair. They meet at
8 a.m., Wednesdays, at Little Italy Italian Market and Trattoria, 318 N. Olympic Ave., in downtown Arlington. They will have an evening meeting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 17.
Two farmers markets set for Arlington
• Farmers and growers are invited to sell their products at the Haller Point Market at The Village Store, 604 E. Gilman St. in Arlington starting May 4 and running through Oct. 5. The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays through the summer. Booth fees are $12 per week, with discounts available for food producers and vendors who live and work in Snohomish County.

• Mark Lovejoy, of Garden Treasures, is also planning a farmers market in Arlington, to be located in Legion Park in downtown Arlington, open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, May 31 to October. Vendors of fresh produce, flowers, crafts, prepared food and entertainment are encouraged to participate. Business After Hours at Arlington Library
The Arlington Library is partnering with the Arlington-Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce to host the next Business After Hours, from 5:30 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 15.
Sno-Isle staff will be on hand to demonstrate small business resources, as well as how to download books, music and videos from the Sno-Isle website. All are invited for refreshments, networking and fun. For information call the library at 360-435-3033.
Old Time Fiddlers jam
The Old Time Fiddlers meet on the second and fourth Friday evenings each month, April 11 and 25 this month, at the old Arlington High School, 135 S. French St. in Arlington. The fun starts at 5 p.m. with a Celtic jam followed by a workshop at 6 p.m. and a circle jam at 7 p.m. Along with jamming and music, snacks are also provided throughout the evening. Vaulting Camp
Warm Beach Camp, home of the Warm Beach Vaulters, is hosting the second of three equestrian vaulting instructional camps April 11-13. The third vaulting camp is June 29-July 5. Vaulting Camp helps develop new skills and introduce participants to others who enjoy the sport. Warm Beach Camp’s vaulting coach, Patti Skipton brings thirty years of experience in national and international competition as well as recreational vaulting.
