Kristin Grinde, Marysville Teen USA, stopped by City Hall recently to visit Mayor Dennis Kendall seeking community support as she prepares to compete in the Miss Washington Teen USA Pageant coming Oct. 11-12. Grinde is a senior at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. She has been active in DECA and the school’s Spirit Club during her time at M-PHS, and she served as Managing Editor and in other editor roles while working on the Tomahawk school newspaper. She is also active in her family church, where she enjoys working with young children. Kristin plans to earn her associate’s degree in community college after graduation, then transfer to the University of Washington.
