MARYSVILLE — The Marysville YMCA’s Youth Development Center will be conducting a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament on Friday, March 16, from 6-10 p.m. for their Youth and Government program fundraiser.

The cost is $3 for spectators, $5 for competitors aged 10-15 and $7 competitors older than 15 years. YMCA members will receive a $1 discount.

The ages 10-15 bracket runs from 6-8 p.m., while the 15-plus bracket runs from 8-10 p.m., with a 32-person limit for each bracket. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

All dollars raised will go toward the Youth and Government program’s transportation fees, food expenses, membership costs and financial aid in general. Marysville YMCA Youth and Government program members will go to Olympia from May 2-5 to debate the bills they have been working on since November of 2011.

Food and drinks will also be available for purchase. Bring your own controller if you are worried about controller problems.
