ARLINGTON – Native American dancers, singers and drummers from all over participated in the 30th Annual Festival of the River over the weekend.
Dancers at the Pow Wow performed before large gatherings both days.
Storytellers were also part of the event, and many of the vendors featured Native American wares including art, foot wear and other clothing. The host Stillaguamish Tribe offered an alder salmon bake.
A Logging Show and festival favorite The New Old Time Chautauqua returned, featuring Justin Therrien as a sword swallower.
Other entertainment on the Trout Stage included the Naughty Blokes and JP Falcon.
Kids were entertained at a Fun Zone, which included a zipline, bouncy houses and more.
Various environmental and wellness activities also were on hand, along with numerous food booths and a 5K run at River Meadows County Park.
