Marysville Parks and Recreation invites you to explore classes and workshops beginning the first week of October. Classes for adults include: Bread Baking 101, Ballroom Dance, Drawing for Adults Beginner to Advanced, Fused Glass – Glass Basics, Art – Elements of Design, Organize/Decorate Your Home for the Holidays, Salsa Dance, First Aid and CPR. Classes for youth include: Origami, Kinder Art, Drawing for Youth Beginner to Advanced and Visual Arts Exploration. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Bread Baking 101

Discover the 12 step process to making exception home-baked artisanal breads with Chef Michael Aspen. This workshop will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4 at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn, 6915 Armar Rd. The cost is $25. Pre-registration is required. Ballroom Dance

Learn popular ballroom dance such as Waltz, Swing, Cha-cha, Rumba, Tango, Hustle, Country and more with instructor Joy Babcock. This 6 week session for ages 16-adult is held from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday evenings beginning Oct. 5 at the Totem Middle School Cafeteria, 1605 7th St. NE. The cost is $59. Pre-registration is required. Drawing for Adults Beginner to Advanced

Local artist Vicki Carver will help you discover and develop your drawing talent. This 4 week class will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 5-26 at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The cost is $49. Pre-registration is required. Fused Glass – Glass Basics

Discover the art of fused glass in this two day class with artist Janet Foley. This class will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5 and Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn, 6915 Armar Rd. The registration fee is $70 and the materials and firing fee is $75. Organize/Decorate Your Home for the Holidays

Learn organizing strategies and get decoration tips to make this a wonderful holiday season with efficient Organization and Distinctive Interior Designs. This workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Marysville Library, 6120 Grove St. The cost is $25. Pre-registration is required. Art – Elements of Design

Learn to salsa in the energetic and exciting dance class with instructor Wendy Messarina. First Aid and CPR/AED Training

Marysville Parks and Recreation is offering certification for Basic First Aid and CPR. Basic First Aid and CPR/AED will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m.-Noon and CPR will be on the same day from 1-4 p.m. at the Ken Baxter Community Center, 514 Delta Ave. The cost is $30 per class. Youth/Teen Classes

Kinder Art

Youth ages 3-5 will let imaginations soar in this fun class taught by artist Jill Sahlstrom. Classes will be held from 10-11 a.m. Mondays, Oct. 4-25 at the Jennings Memorial Park Barn, 6915 Armar Rd.
