MARYSVILLE — Marysville Parks and Recreation invites dads and daughters of all ages to register for the 2013 Father/Daughter Valentine Dance, and create lasting memories on the dance floor.
Marysville Parks offers two dance sessions on two consecutive Saturdays, with couples’ choice of 5:30-7 p.m. or 7:30-9 p.m., on Feb. 2 or Feb. 9. Dances take place in the Cedarcrest Middle School cafeteria, located at 6400 88th St. NE in Marysville. Register online at the city’s website at http://marysvillewa.gov, or stop by the Parks Office during business hours in Jennings Memorial Park at 6915 Armar Rd. Pre-registration is required, and no paper tickets will be distributed.
“These fun dances are a huge hit with families each year, and the nights sell out fast, so don’t wait long to sign up,” Recreation Coordinator Andrea Kingsford said.
When dads and daughters aren’t boogieing down to the DJ music while surrounded by Valentine-themed decor, they can enjoy refreshments and receive photos to commemorate their special evening, at a cost of $20 per couple and $5 for each additional daughter attending the same session.
The dances are sponsored by Bob’s Burger and Brew, Mosaic Insurance Alliance, HomeStreet Bank, Clear Image Portrait Studio, Golden Corral and the Marysville Kiwanis Club.
