MARYSVILLE — The Sea Mar Community Health Centers are marking National Health Center Week 2013 by offering a free resource fair at the Marysville Medical Clinic during the week of Aug. 12-16.
“All our activities are intended to help area residents to stay healthy and learn how to access affordable quality health care,” said Anthony Amos, manager of the Marysville Medical Clinic. “This becomes especially important as the Affordable Care Act gets underway this fall.”
Sea Mar has a policy of not refusing service to anyone, including those who cannot afford to pay.
“Every day in our clinic, I see the value of having a patient-centered health care home,” Amos said. “Our patients get the care they need, and are treated with dignity and respect. This is what health care should be, and this is why we want to celebrate our anniversary and the existence of Sea Mar health services in Marysville, Monroe, Everett and Lynnwood in Snohomish County.”
