Creative Dance Mommy and Me

This wonderful class taught by Monica Olason will have mommy and child twirling with glee. The 6 week session is held on Friday mornings from 9:15-10 a.m. beginning Jan. 15 at the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center (514 Delta Ave., Marysville). The cost is $50 for mother and child ages 1-3 years. Pre-registration is required, please call the Marysville Parks and Recreation Office at 360-363-8400 for registration information.

Fused Glass Basics – Pick a Project

Join artist Janet Foley in this wonderful workshop where you will explore fused glass while making your own beautiful fused glass projects. Class will be held from 6-9 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 14 at Jennings Memorial Park Barn (6915 Armar Rd., Marysville). The registration fee is $35 and the materials fee is $20-$45 depending on the project chosen. Creative Dance for ages 3-5

Does your daughter love to dance around the living room? Your child will love learning basic ballet steps and terminology as well as creative dance movements including ribbon dance. This six-week session is held on Friday mornings from 10-10:45 a.m. for ages 3-4 and from 10:45-11:30 a.m. for ages 4-5 beginning Jan. 15. The cost is $48. ZUMBA!

Ditch the workout and join the party with Zumba! This energizing class will help you build muscle, burn fat and have a great time in this high energy dance fitness class. Classes begin Jan. 4th and are held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Marysville Middle School (4923 67th St. NE, Marysville). Punch cards are available for $140 for 20 classes, $75 for 10 classes and $40 for 5 classes. Registration is ongoing and a punch card is required before attending class.
