The Master Builders Association of Snohomish and King counties built 40 ramps for people in need last Saturday, including one in Arlington and four in Marysville.

The individuals and families struggle to get themselves or their loved ones in and out of their homes.

The Arlington resident is Jonathan Palin, who suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was in a car accident as a child and uses a wheelchair. Arlington Hardware volunteered to construct his ramp. In Marysville, LDC built ramps for Pam Selnes and Sundee Hack, VanderBeken built one for Caitlyn Christofferson and Gamut360 made one for Rima Clair.
