After Tuesday night’s highly anticipated Mega Millions drawing for $636 million, the second largest jackpot in United States history, 12 Washington residents won the $5,000 prize, including two in Marysville. Washington’s Lottery sends its congratulations to all the winners and encourages players to check their tickets.

The winners hail from across Washington, including Port Orchard, Seattle (2), Grandview, Kent, Pullman, Redmond, Puyallup, Custer, Marysville (2) and Everett. Each player won the $5,000 prize by matching four numbers and the Mega Ball number correctly. The odds of winning this prize are 1 in 740,000.
