LAKEWOOD — Lakewood wrestlers throw down today at 6 p.m. hosting a Jamboree at Lakewood High School. Sophomore Gage Taylor and senior Trevor Chase are just some of the wrestlers to look out for.

ARLINGTON — The Arlington boys basketball team opens its season hosting Mount Vernon today at Arlington High School at 7:15 p.m. Arlington will start a high-flying bunch, including senior Connor Bovard, junior Donovan Sellgren and 6-foot-8 senior Jeremy Bishop.

MARYSVILLE — Marysville boys basketball commences its season hosting Cascade today at Marysville-Pilchuck High School at 7:15 p.m. M-P will start some tall men who are 6-foot-4 seniors Michael Painter and Bryce Vitcovich, and 6-foot-4 junior Nate Heckendorf.

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood boys basketball team hopes to cohere as the season progresses, coach Anthony Wiederkehr said.

Senior captains Hunter Fritz, Chance Schueller, Ryan Alford and Paul Coleman return to the hardwood starting with Mornington, Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Lakewood High School at 6:45 p.m.
