Longtime Marysville City councilman Jeff Siebert wants his old job back, apparently.
Siebert has joined the crowded field for Rob Toyer’s spot.
Toyer is running for Snohomish County treasurer, so far against only Brian Sullivan.
Kelly J. Richards also filed for that spot. Earlier, Leguang “Noah” Rui, Todd Fahlman and Gary Kemp applied for Position 5. Incumbent Pete Lundberg filed for the Marysville school board and Ric Cade of Arlington is so far unopposed for the North County Regional Fire District.
Tuesday, Paul Galovin filed for Marysville School District director Position 2, the one Kona Farry filed for previously.
Others who filed Tuesday did so in races with only one candidate so far. They include: Incumbent Stephen Muller for Marysville City Council, Michael Ray for Arlington Public Schools, Jennifer Mullin of Arlington for Hospital District 3 and Ryan Hudson of Tulalip for Fire District 15.
In Lakewood, Steven Larson has filed to run against Jeremy Toponce for school board. Leaha Boser and Lawrence Bean have filed and are unopposed as of our deadline Thursday.
On Monday, Arlington Mayor Barb Tolbert found out she already has a challenger in Don Vanney Jr.
For Arlington City Council, incumbent Sue Weiss also has a challenger in Michele Blythe. Incumbents Marilyn Oertle and Mike Hopson also filed with the Snohomish County Elections Department Monday.
In Marysville, Mayor Jon Nehring filed for re-election, as did council president Kamille Norton. The Marysville School District shows incumbent Tom Albright filing again for Position 5.
Sheri T. Kelly filed for office for Arlington Public Schools and run against Jim Weiss. Mary Levesque filed for District 4.
Fire District 21 shows Eric Nordstrom of Arlington filing. Jeff Sinker will take on Greg Oakes of Arlington for the North County Regional Fire Authority. John V. Meno of Arlington filed for Position 1 for Hospital District 3.
Seven people have now filed for County Council Position 2, two for Position 3, two for county auditor and sheriff, and two each for county Superior Court judge positions 7 and 8.
