ARLINGTON – Police arrested a 37-year-old Arlington woman Dec. 19 for a November armed robbery of Burger King in the 20300 block of 77th Avenue NE.
Just before 6:15 a.m. Nov. 10, employees reported to 9-1-1 that a man and woman entered the Burger King and robbed it. During the robbery, the woman brandished a black handgun to prevent employees from leaving while her accomplice took cash from the safe. The woman also demanded the employees’ cell phones to prevent them from reporting the robbery.
Information from multiple sources provided the identity of the woman. Arlington detectives booked her into Snohomish County Jail on three felony charges: first-degree robbery, second-degree theft and unlawful imprisonment. The woman is facing several other felony charges for crimes being investigated by the North County Property Crime Unit.
The handgun believed to be used in the robbery has been recovered. But detectives are continuing their search for the male suspect.
