Dino Rossi, former state Senator and now president/CEO of Forward Washington, will be the featured speaker at The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerces upcoming televised Business Before Hours slated for Friday, Sept. 28, from 7:30 9a.m. at the Tulalip Resort/Casino.
Rossi created the non-profit public policy foundation, which focuses on state-level issues such as improving the business climate, especially for small and medium-sized businesses, responsible state budgeting, and accountability in state government.
Rossi held a state Senate seat for six years, and had a prominent role as the Senate budget chairman. Rossi has written and self-published a book about his life story and personal and political philosophy.
The program will also feature an exclusive update on efforts to win the proposed UW Branch Campus for Marysville. Marysville holds six of the nine sites up for final consideration following the initial 73 sites offered for study.
There will also be a special presentation to the Chamber by its partner, The Tulalip Tribes.
