TULALIP – There’s a new twist to this year’s Christmas Party for The Greater Marysville Tulalip Chamber of Commerce Thursday, Dec. 3 at The Tulalip Casino Resort.

It will include silent and live auctions, as well as honoring those who have been past chairs of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

The evening will end with a one-hour live comedy show featuring Brad Upton.

“This year’s is planned as an elegant event on a level that is designed to entice businesses to not only attend but also to invite their staff or key employees, perhaps in lieu of having an office Christmas party,” Chamber President/CEO Jesica Stickles said.

Starting at 5 p.m., champagne will be served. There will also be a silent auction. The dinner choice is Flat Iron steaks or chicken Scaloppini, Tillamook cheddar mashed potatoes and an array of salads and beverages. Fourteen items will be available at the Dessert Dash.

A live auction will follow, featuring such items as vacation trips, race car driving, future parties and exclusive luncheons with community leaders.

Reservations can be made by contacting MaryJane@MarysvilleTulalipChamber.com

The celebration will honor board chairs since 2002, the year that the Chamber merged with the tribes. Cal Taylor was chair from 2001-03, followed by Gary Baker, 2003-04; Gary Petershagen, 2004-05; Stephan Muller, 2005-06; Marilyn Sheldon, 2006-07; David Toyer, 2007-08; Al Aldrich, 2008-09; David Chin, 2009-10; John Bell, 2010-14; and Will Ibershof, 2014-15.
