TULALIP — Local celebrity John Curley will serve as the featured emcee and auctioneer at this year’s annual fundraiser for Cocoon House, a nonprofit serving Snohomish County’s homeless youth.
“An Evening in Silk” takes place on Oct. 20 at the Tulalip Resort and is set to include fine dining, lively bidding, fabulous desserts and, most importantly, an opportunity to support the critical work of Cocoon House.
“Cocoon House was founded in 1991 and is the only organization in Snohomish County that focuses on the needs of at-risk and homeless teens and their families by providing emergency housing, healthy meals, longer-term housing, prevention and other supportive services,” said Heidi Scott, development and community relations manager for the organization.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $75 per person. To preregister or for more information, visit www.cocoonhouse.org or call 425-259-3342.
