Old Time Fiddlers
The Old Time Fiddlers meets on the Friday evenings of May 22nd and June 12th and 26th at the Sisco Heights Community Club, 13527 99th Ave NE, Arlington, WA 98223.
Celtic jam is at 5 p.m., workshop at 6 p.m., and circle jam begins at 7 p.m. Music, jamming and snacks throughout the evening. Free family entertainment; listeners and acoustic musicians of all ages (and their instruments) welcome.

Registration for Marysville Goodwill’s free classes has begun.
Students can learn valuable skills in English and computers
Marysville Goodwill’s Job Training and Education Center, located at 9315 State Ave., will begin registering people on May 11 for free classes in the eight-week session that runs from May 26 through July 16. These courses teach those with significant barriers to employment valuable skills to find and keep jobs. Classes fill up fast, and sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay!

Fused Glass-The Basics
This workshop taught by Janet Foley is a wonderful opportunity to explore fused glass while making your own beautiful fused glass projects. You need not bring anything but your ideas and sense of artistic adventure. There will be an overview of glass fusing and then let the creativity begin. Class will be held from 6-9pm on Thursday, May 21 at Jennings Memorial Park Barn in Marysville (6915 Armar Rd., Marysville). The registration fee is $35 and the materials fee is $45. Included in the materials fee are all of the materials needed to make the chosen project and glass firing. First Aid and CPR training
Get certified in Basic First Aid or CPR. First aid classes will cover initial assessment, EMS activation, standard precautions, burn care, bleeding, shock, sudden illness, heat/cold emergencies, dislocations and fractures as well as specific body injuries. CPR classes teach the chain of survival, activation of EMS, emergency response, understanding what CPR is, manikin practice of CPR, and choking. First Aid and CPR courses meet requirements for DSHS, WISHA, OSHA, and L&I. First Aid will be held on Wednesday, May 27 from 5:45 to 9pm and CPR will be held on Thursday, May 28 from 6-9pm both classes will be held at the Ken Baxter Senior Community Center (514 Delta Ave., Marysville). Chef Michael Aspen will be tantalizing the taste buds in this Mediterranean Cuisine class focused on Italy. Creative Dance for ages 3-5
Does your daughter love to dance around the living room? Creative Dance is a wonderful opportunity for her to explore her creative side! Your child will love learning basic ballet steps and terminology as well as creative dance movements including ribbon dance. This 4 week session is held on Friday mornings from 10-10:45 for ages 3-4 and from 10:45-11:30 for ages 4-5 beginning May 22nd. The cost is $32. The cost is $35 per person per game with the exception of the New York Yankees ($50) and includes motor coach transportation and a game ticket located in section 332. Babysitting basics
This instructional course is geared for youth, ages 10-14 that would like to receive babysitting certification. Offered by Campfire, but open to all. Participants will learn how to feed and diaper infants and toddlers, handle children’s bed and bath routines, set limits and handle troublesome behaviors, prevent accidents and respond to emergencies. Participants must attend both days to receive certification. Bring sack lunch or snack.
